St. Helens & South Lancashire Rail & Bus Site:
Winwick
Winwick Junction lies about 3 miles north of Warrington Bank Quay on the West Coast Main Line (WCML). Photographs are possible from a road overbridge next to the junction, but this is a busy road, and many photographers prefer to gather at Old Alder Lane bridge, about 0.4 miles south of the junction. This page features a selection of photographs taken in this area.
